1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for a Rulip account or utilizing Rulip's Model Context Protocol (MCP) server endpoints, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use Rulip's services.
2. Service Description
Rulip provides a centralized long-term memory server that developers can hook up to third-party AI agents (such as ChatGPT or Claude Desktop) using Model Context Protocol (MCP). The service stores, indexes, and queries text logs ("memories") at the user's direction.
3. Accounts and Billing
To use Rulip, you must create a secure account. You are responsible for all activity conducted through your account credentials and personal API keys.
- Subscriptions: Rulip offers a free tier as well as paid monthly/annual subscriptions (Developer and Team plans).
- Fees: Subscription fees are charged automatically on a recurring basis. All payments are non-refundable.
- Cancellations: You can cancel your paid plan at any time through the Billing settings. Your access will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle.
4. Acceptable Use and API Conduct
You agree not to use Rulip to store or transmit any content that is illegal, defamatory, invasive of another's privacy, or infringes intellectual property rights. You agree not to abuse Rulip's API or server infrastructure, including making excessive requests that disrupt system performance for other developers.
5. Limitation of Liability
Rulip is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Under no circumstances shall Rulip Inc. be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the loss of access to stored AI memories, system downtime, or third-party AI service changes.
6. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and API access immediately if you violate these terms. Upon termination, all stored memories associated with your account will be permanently deleted.
7. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
